Based on an old Totem that used to stand in the village of Alert Bay, the artist has done a model pole measuring 75 inches in height by 12 inches deep by 30 inches wide ( wing span ). This pole is fully carved with every attention to detail from all the feathers on the body of the Eagle to the woven cedar bark rope on the fisherman. this is one of the most well done Totem's you will find on the market.
The Eagle is one of the most important beings in there art and mythology, it is also traditionally the most prominent of there Crests. The Eagle is associated to the Pursuit of Freedom and is reverted as a powerful hunter.
The Sisutil or two headed sea serpent he is very powerful
and guards the house of the sky people. He is an transformer most commonly he transforms in to a self propelled canoe.
He also is a spirit helper to the Warrior were he could be
called upon to make the warrior powerful and invulnerable.
But with one glance he can kill or turn an enemy to stone.
