Master carver Stan C Hunt know for his traditional style carving that he has learned from his father the late Henry Hunt again producing a piece that would have been proudly displayed in a Potlatch of Feast in the past or present.
This Feast Dish has been carved from Yellow Cedar, the lid has been shaped to fit the bowl like a glove. Finishing off the piece by carving a Ladle with the Raven on the handle. The Bowl measures 21 inches in length by 9 inches in height by 5 inches in width and the ladle is 8 inches long.
Killer Whale is associated with strength, dignity, prosperity and longevity. The Raven for the discovery of fire and the Human could be an ancestor that is riding with the Killer Whale.
