Native Mask - Pugwis with Frog by Stan C Hunt c2006 The Pugwis' (Man of the Sea) is a Kwakwaka' wakw undersea spirit in human form that sometimes has a Loon sitting on his head. This one has the Frog coming out of his mouth the Frog is also a messenger between the two relms. Masterfully carved from marbled red cedar, this mask has a knife finish with cedar bark tufts.
