Native Mask - Raven by Stan C Hunt C2007
The Raven is also part of the Hamatsa of Cannibal Birds these are part of the Winter Ceremony.
 
He is a large Black bird also a rare White Raven they are 
one of the most important beings in Northwest Art he is 
known to be a Trickster, Transformer, and attributed to the discovery of fire. 
The Mask has been carved from Red cedar and finished off with a cedar bark skirt and Tufts, the lower jaw articulates the mask has been knife finished a trade mark of Stan's.
The measurements of the mask alone are 40 inches long by 10 inches high by 9 inches wide. The measurements of the mask with the cedar bark skirt and tufts are 50 inches long by 36 inches high by 29 inches wide.
